The incentive to rush this Terrorism Suppression Act through is that it is a part of the so-called ‘War on Terror’ (WoT). Problem is that the WoT has not only failed but also distracted attention from the aggression of the WoT countries which exacerbates tensions in many areas. It is part of an ideological mind-set prejudicial to some cultures and races as embodied in the colonialist Five Eyes spy network, and thus has made the world more violent and uncertain.
